Ever since we moved to the farm I’ve been taking Morgan dog with me when out go out on bike rides through the wheat fields. She loves to be able to run free with no leash.

I’ve not been in to Petco yet…I may have to go check it out.

Yes, indeed, he is a find. Wonderful writer and thinker. Part of a group of influential Bay-area writers in the 60s and 70s that included another terrific writer, probably my favorite, Wallace Stegner.

four things I know about burning wood at a camp fire.
the dryer the wood the faster it burns.
solid, hard, dense wood wont spread the fire as fast.
the more oil in the wood the longer it burns like Eucalyptus trees which burn like torches.
All wood burns differently so to know how much you need depends on what wood your using.
